The Boao Youth Development Conference (BYDC) is an open conference for global youth headquartered in China. It was jointly initiated by influential youth mentors and officially launched in Boao Town, Qionghai City, Hainan Province in 2021. The conference has set up two centers in Beijing and Hainan and annual conferences are hosted regularly. The mission of the conference is to build an open, innovative, and sustainable platform that can foster the growth of the youth globally.

Guided by the principle ‘The future belongs to the young people, and the hopes also rest with them’, BYDC takes ‘cultivating young elites with the will, innovative spirit, and global vision’ as its mission, aiming at building a brand-new platform to lead the growth of youth groups, encourage them to be innovative, promote them to be dedicated, and facilitate Chinese youth to understand the world and the world youth to understand China.
